As the Primary Election nears, it is important for voters to know their voting sites. The Office of Elections previously announced the closure of more than 90 polling places throughout Hawaii. Most of those sites are from Oahu. It is a clear sign of a lack of foresight by the department(A special comment will come next Monday). To avoid any confusion, here is the link to check where your polling place is located. To get the information, you will need to provide your name and date of birth. If you would like to find out over the phone, call the Office of Elections at: (808) 453-8683 or neighbor island toll-free at (800) 442-8683.
There is still time to participate in the early walk-in voting if you would like to avoid the rush on September 18th. Polling sites are open from 8am-4pm Mon-Sat.
