Hawaii Remembers Pearl Harbor (via Pacific Island National Parks)

Today is the 69th anniversary of the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. Here is a very poignant post from Pacific Island National Parks blog with some very amazing photos. Please honor and remember the sacrifices of the more than 2,000 Americans who perished at Pearl Harbor.

  1. I had the fortune of visiting the Arizona in 2009 for the first time. I think every American should visit this place and feel the pain still in the air from that day that changed the world.

    • Living in Hawaii you grow up learning constantly about the history of Pearl Harbor. Although there is still pain, we are lucky to have such an amazing resource to learn and grow right in our back yard.
